Specifically designed for Strapless and Freeride, the Legion has an incredible ability to tuck and shock its power on command. The kite offers on-demand incredible drifting in the surf or for free-ride foiling, excellent pop in freestyle.

The Exo structure is our ultimate construction in terms of durability, without compromising on weight. Thanks to the Progressive Strapless Profile in 3 battens, the Legion is stable, light and maneuverable with excellent low range flying qualities.

The best materials have been used to create the LEGION, for a very high-end, lightweight and durable wing : Ripstop Teijin Techno force / D2 fabric, Dacron Teijin, Kevlar reinforcements.... The moderate aspect ratio and short bridle offer constant power and precise control. Our Driving mode allows you to configure your kite according to your style: speed, bar feel, turn in seconds. RADIAL SEGMENTED ARC

The segmented arc shape of the kite allows for drifting and depowering, as the segments allow the kite to deform to follow the rider's movement.

 

AN EXTREMELY VERSATILE FREERIDE/WAVE PROGRAMME

The LEGION I is a freeride kite with an incomparable wave quality. The DRIFT and DEPOWER are the key elements of this kite which will delight the experts of the discipline and will reassure and accompany the most beginners.

KEVLAR PROTECTION

Kevlar's high strength-to-weight ratio and resistance to impact and abrasion make it a suitable material for reinforcing and strengthening various parts of our kitesurfing equipment, especially the wings. Incorporated into the leading edge, trailing edge, and strut areas of the kitesurf wings, it enhance their structural integrity and durability. It helps to improve the overall performance and longevity of the wings, allowing them to withstand the forces and stresses experienced during kitesurfing sessions.

By reinforcing key areas with Kevlar, HB wings are more resistant to tears, punctures, and general wear and tear. This can contribute to a longer lifespan of the equipment and reduce the need for frequent repairs or replacements. Kevlar, used in combination with Dacron, create a balanced and optimal construction for kitesurf wings. 

LOAD DISTRIBUTION PANELS

Load distribution panels are strategically placed reinforcements designed to enhance structural integrity and improve load distribution. These panels consist of additional layers of material, typically Dacron, strategically positioned in high-stress areas like the leading edge, wingtips, struts, and attachment points.

By reinforcing these critical regions, load distribution panels help to evenly distribute forces across the wing, minimizing stress concentration and potential weak points. This reinforcement optimizes stability, responsiveness, and overall performance of the kite, ensuring a more enjoyable and controlled kitesurfing experience.

We employ various design techniques to create efficient load distribution systems, resulting in durable wings capable of withstanding the demands of the sport.

Technoforce Teijin Dacron D2 is a renowned material in kitesurfing. It offers exceptional tear resistance and stability, with minimal stretch for precise control and maneuverability.
