After the success of the first ANTI 5'2 with BIAX technology and its Shape, which was unanimously approved by Strapless riders all over the world, we wanted to equip our new ANTI II with the Double BIAX technology in order to add even more Flex and pop than on the previous versions.

At HB Surf, we saw before anyone the importance the Freestyle will have within the strapless discipline. This is why we were the first to propose a dedicated Noseless freestyle shape since the beginning of the strapless that we helped developed. After the huge success of our first ANTI 5’2 with the BIAX technology that satisfied the entire strapless community, we decided to wider the range with 2 more size : 5’0 & 5’4.
- The main evolution is in the thickness of the board that we have increased to foster the board aggressiveness and ability to relaunch.
- Indeed, this specificity gives the shape a bigger volume which allows to fly on the water much faster and increases the reactivity of this already nervous board.
- The new ANTI II comes with the new Double BIAX technology in order to provide much more pop and flex than the former version.

A FREESTYLE SHAPE ALWAYS EVOLVING WITH MORE AGGRESIVENESS
The Rocker, the Outline and the Shape in general stayed the same. The main evolution is in the thickness of the board that we have increased to foster the board aggressiveness and ability to relaunch. Indeed, an increased thickness provide the shape with a higher volume which allow to fly on the water much faster and easier. This specificity rises the responsiveness of this already nervous board.
A DOUBLE BIAX TECHNOLOGY TO REACH UNLIMITED POP
The new ANTI II comes with the new Double BIAX technology in order to provide much more pop and flex than the former version. The BIAX is therefore from the deck to the hull and is a dedicated and crucial specificity for freestyle noseless shape only. As always, in order to have the best Volume / Flex balance and therefore the same feeling the professional surfers have with their very flex polyester boards, we bring a unique technology to our very solid bases epoxy surfs. Because at HB Surf, we don’t do compromise.
Measurements
- The main reason is located on the board’s FLEX. We also call it the rebound effect, the one which allows you to be explosive in your navigation, whether it is in pop to jump, or in a board’s bottom turn boost. Balance wasn’t easy to find, between the bamboo blades, its application on the top or the bottom, or both… our numerous tests led to this excellent balance.
- The second reason concerns the board’s WEIGHT, it is 15% lighter than our classic construction. Don’t believe the resellers who assure you that weight is synonymous with quality, they just can’t do it ! A board’s lightness means performance and fluidity, the holy grail when it comes to riding.
- The third reason that led to into developing this unique technology is COMFORT. Having a Formula 1 that is out of control or difficult to access has no point, the BIAX construction offers a fluid and precise feel which gives you a progression tool like no other !
