HB Surf Strapless Society is born! If you're a Strapless fan, you've probably heard of this blog that was animating the web ! Today, more than ever, we continue to share our passion thanks to our community. Via the STRAPLESS SOCIETY social medias and dedicated services for members only.

With the aim of always gaining ground in the discipline, it is during this year that HB Surf's first noseless surf will be created: The Anti 5"4. This exclusive shape has been created to meet the demands of modern freestyle. The unique double swallow allows you to push your limits with ultimate control of the board in both directions !

The surf exploration continues. From the first day we draw from our surfing roots and of course we introduced in 2015 our first paddle surfboard. The new Regence surf board is the result of our passion for surfing and our commitment to deliver high-performance and technical products.

We continue to innovate by introducing the patented 3D Hook system which equips the Legacy harness. In its conquest of the strapless market, HB Surf has designed the first kite harnesss specially developed for kitesurf strapless.

Known for years for our surf boards, we use our experience of surf to develop our first kite, the Legion! This kite has been developed to cover a large demand for any strapless ride.

With all these years of experience, all these innovations at the service of the discipline, HB Surf has reinvented itself, always faithful to its original roots: THE SURF.
Our rebellious brand, has studied and designed its product for a long time and finally comes out with the FLAIR wing. One of the very first wing on the market, both light and with a self-stable delta profile that reinforces its manoeuvrability and lightness.
We are also specialised in surf boards since several years, and after our recent innovation, we released a brand new support dedicated to wing-riders, the QUEST. Finally a board capable of satisfying your strapless sessions !

From 2021, we have introduced TRI-RADIAL in all our wings, this technology is derived from sailing. The TRI RADIAL is an extremely precise and complex cut, which allows  to improve and fluidify the airflow. The GUIDE is the first HB wing to incorporate the TRI-RADIAL.

We have improved and optimized the LEGION III kite as much as possible, by integrating the TRI-RADIAL that we had previously introduced in the GUIDE. This cut makes the kite much more incisive and fast for increased responsiveness. This new kite is what allowed us to create the best kite for surfing.

In 2023, we used and created a new dacron assembly, which we called the RXL of Rigid 160 dacron and Light 140 dacron. This new dacron makes our new wings lighter and stiffer. You can find it on all our products of the 2023 range.

The FLAIR II RXL has rigid handles that make the board more powerful and responsive.

The TIDE is the first HB SURF carbon wing foil board. Carbon makes the board stiffer and more reactive.

The freedom is total, no matter where the kite is located in the window. With this friction-less system, the kite is connected directly to the rotary axis, unlike the traditional kite hook. Designed for riders who want to get the most out of their kite, the new Pilote Bar II is simply perfect. A 100% safe bar, as refined, precise and technical as ever !

The whole Pilote Bar has been refined & lightened to avoid any tangles. Our lines are manufactured to the highest quality standards by the German manufacturer Liros. The new metal pulley and wedge cleat greatly improve untangling, then offering a more precise and secure setting. The new release model is equipped with a double ISO-compliant untangling system.

Once again we have used our passion and desire for freedom to create a new style of wingsurfing. Our unique design is centered around a self-stabilizing delta profile and ultralight construction that enhances the maneuverability and lightness in the long downwind surfing that this discipline allows. As always, we focus on technology for the benefit of the strapless discipline.

• LIGHT AS POSSIBLE : The FLAIR is the lightest wing on the market. The 3m' weighs 1.5kg, the 4m- weighs 1.9kg and the 5m€ weighs 2.2kg, while the 6m- weighs 2.5kg.

The Quest benefits from HB Surf's unique know-how and is produced in the same workshops as our surfkites. Lightness, solidity and a unique handcrafted finish are the key elements of our new wingsurf board.

• UNIQUE FEELING: The Armacell frame and the US case are one and the same on our QUEST. This means that the strength is uniform throughout the board and provides an unmatched responsive feel. The composite structure also allows the board to be very light.
• 100% RECYCLABLE COMPOSITES: The discipline of surfwing requires large volume boards.It takes a lot of materials to build a wing support. That's why we chose to work with recycled and recyclable composites for our QUEST, reducing as much as possible the waste emissions in our production workshops.
• DEDICATE & UNIQUE WING SURFING SHAPE: The Quest benefits from HB Surf's unique know-how as it is produced in the same workshops as our surfkite. Lightness, strength and a unique handcrafted finish are the key elements of our new wingsurfing board.

The flow is equipped with a new technology, the multi directional carbon by using recycled multi-directional carbon fibers directional carbon fibers, built around a core of high density foam EPS foam core, precisely shaped and CNC cut.

Combined with our high modulus carbon mast, this results in a lightweight lightweight and super stiff. The Foil, flow consists of a mast, a wing and a and stabilizer made of carbon MD combined with a fuselage made of 6061 aluminum fuselage.

These handles offer more rigidity to the structure, they allow to increase the wind range and to reduce the fatigue in the arms. Indeed, the handles combined with the ultra compact design allow to pump the arms horizontally.

The handles are removable in case of pass with a key or a socket of 8 mm.  

We have developed a new combination of dacron that we have called the RXL, this combination combines two types of dacrons:

DACRON  RIGID 160 : This Dacron is inextensible, it incorporates a radial cut reinforcement and a protective coating that allows a greater pressure on the structure for a reduced section

DACRON  LIGHT 140 : This dacron is an extremely strong and light version 

This combination of fabrics has been tested in extrem conditions to test the durability of the fabrics.

We decided to reduce the flapping by adding 3 mini flexible battens at the trailing edge per side. 

These 3 mini battens allow the wing to be always tense, and make it more powerful.
